Behind the Scenes
"The truth is rarely a straight line; sometimes, it’s a broadcast error."
Dead Air is an exploration of the discrepancy between public image and private reality. Having spent years as a news photographer and editor, I wanted to comment on the performative nature of mass media and the "dead air" where the truth often goes missing. This film utilizes a dynamic, suspense-driven style to show how a trusted authoritative figure can package a tragedy to hide a personal crime. It’s a fast-paced reckoning with media deception, where the very person reporting the news is the one with the biggest secrets.
