"A mother's love is a dangerous, beautiful madness."

Rather than focusing on a body count, my 2014 reimagining of Friday the 13th focuses on the human tragedy at the heart of the Crystal Lake legend. This project is a stylistic "love letter" to the 1980 original, focusing on the relationship between Pamela and her "special" son. By blending archival realism with psychological tension, the film explores the blurred line where a mother’s fierce protection descends into a cycle of vengeful madness.
