"When the mind fractures, reality becomes a digital glitch."
In The Unraveling, I wanted to externalize the internal breakdown of sanity. Using surrealist visual motifs and digital "glitch" effects to obscure the faces of others, we place the audience directly inside the protagonist's distorted perception of reality. This film is a jarring, claustrophobic journey through paranoia and isolation. It’s a reflection on how thin our grip on reality truly is, and the terrifying consequences when we lose the chemical balance that keeps our worlds from coming apart.
